Quick Update

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to give you an update on the website so that you’d know I’m doing well and in remission. Since I’ve been home my knowledge base has broadened and I’ve learned so much more on how to handle and live with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. My last Pet Scan showed no metabolic cancer activity in my bones where it originally showed up in March. Obviously, some combination of all that I’m doing seems to be working. The tricky part is figuring out what is essential and what I am doing is not relevant. We’ve decided to stick with all the alternative and holistic treatments I’ve been taking and receiving. I’ve even skipped six weeks of gene-targeted therapy per my doctor’s suggestion just to see if I’d still remain in remission. So far, so good. I appreciate all the prayers, donations, and words of encouragement you’ve sent. I’m very grateful and I want to thank you for your support. If you’d like to be on my update email distro list please IM me and I’ll add you. I did send one out a month or so ago and it was pretty detailed with my regimen and all I’m doing. Above all, I’m thankful to the Lord for insight and His wisdom in guiding me to where I’m at now. My earnest prayer throughout this journey has been to be in His will and to know what to do. I have a sense of peace and direction now no matter what happens. Physically I am stronger than I can recall within the last fifteen years, and I’m getting tons of sunshine, which is essential in fighting cancer. My vitamin D is the highest it’s ever been. I’d say the move has done me good!
May God Bless you. Allison
