Mexico Update #7 (Final)
June 8, 2016
Hello,
Today is my final day here at Sanoviv and they have arranged every last detail regarding transportation, bagged lunch, medications and vaccines to go, along with all my discharge papers from the pharmacy, nutritionist, and medical doctors. I even have the authorized prescription to carry my meds over the border and on the airplane should the issue come up.
On the whole I’d say this has been the best medical experience I’ve ever endured considering the situation. There were some tearful goodbyes yesterday as hugs were passed between the doctor and two special nurses along with some of the ladies in the bio-energetics room. I am leaving here with so much hope and having listened to some amazing success stories with and from former patients who now come back and return for follow ups or check ins.
I’ve asked some of the staff about the patients they fondly remember. One of the colonics technicians shared that they had a 23 year-old patient here with Parkinson’s disease many years ago. She said it was so funny hearing a man sing various songs while getting his colon cleaned and he would make the best of it. When he left he was walking and doing remarkably well. I guess sometime later, one of the staff said he was a contestant on American Idol.
I was so surprised when I listened to one doctor’s story about why she came here. She is an internal medicine physician and she came here because so many of her patients on the east coast are wanting alternative and holistic care. She wants to be able to honor their requests and to find out all she can but she said she wasn’t trained in medical school this way. She was suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome and she said that working as a doctor in the hospital ER was killing her and that she hadn’t slept in years. It was her husband who encouraged her to try Sanoviv. She did, and she felt so much better. She eventually applied to work here and has been here six years. Other doctors have come here as patients and wanted to work here because they know the patients get better, not just treated for symptoms. That made a lasting impression on me as I listened to her story.
I have learned so much about the importance of reducing toxic load and eating organic foods. I really had no idea how many pesticides were sprayed on our foods. According to the nutritionist here, strawberries and spinach are the most heavily sprayed and should always, always be bought as organic items. I have a long list to review when I get home.
Also, I wanted to say thank you for all the encouragement and prayers I’ve received along the way, I still have a long road ahead of me and a great deal of work to do. My cancer cells are very aggressive and like to resist whatever we throw at it. Therefore, I know that just because I’m leaving , I’m not done. I have to continue this fight at home. I’ve met a few patients who came here thinking it was a “cure”” and they went home and didn’t follow the diet, exercise, or take the supplements upon returning home to their old lifestyles. Their cancers returned. It basically a life-style change and I’m ready to do it.
God Bless you all!
Allison
